It was VERY annoying with sunglasses and just didn't feel right. The sales person also convinced me that the over-ear "hook" attached to that model was necessary to keep it in place. It fits my ear very comfortably - sometimes I forget I'm wearing it - and very securely - I have not seen any need for the "hook" (which can be purchased separately if you prefer one). I purchased a different Bluetooth at my local Verizon store. It was much larger and very uncomfortable in the ear (I have small ears). I returned it and ordered this one from Amazon.
See my other reviews if you want a comparison of other brands. I think it's because it has such a small opening for the sound from my voice that once it's turned just a bit, the wind goes right by and the listener can't even tell. The trick is that I have to turn my head just slightly to the side. I can't beat it in the wind. This thing is great in the wind.
I keep two different headsets now, one for normal use and this one for bicycling or windy days outside. Not much at all, maybe 1 inch off center but I've never seen another unit that can deal with the high wind at that speed. I've reviewed maybe 9 other bluetooth headsets on Amazon but none of them can do this. I reviewed this product before but I must add something I've found out after months of use. I can bicycle downhill at top speed and hold a normal conversation while the listener can't even tell that I'm moving.
I've tested it down hill multiple times and use it whenever I bicycle. The only downside is that in a quiet room, it's not as perfectly clear as some of the other ones, but hey.
It falls a lot from my ear. The holder does not help either because is too soft.
Only thing that is keeping it from 5 stars is that it's soo clear that you can hear the background noises when I am on the phone with someone. The quality is super well, people on the other line can hear me clearly. I recommend people to get this bluetooth (: This product came in three days from when i ordered it. It was very easy to sync with my cellular phone, too. Other than that, I like it, it's handy and small.
I was spoiled with my old one that would let me walk a good distance away from the phone and it would still work just fine (I could typically walk all over the house). Other than that, it's a good buy, and stays in the ear well - I love that it doesn't have to go over the ear and get in the way of glasses/sunglasses. This headset works well and has decent sound quality, as long as you don't go too far from your phone. This one gets static if you move more than 3-5 feet away from it.
